What is Acre Candle Co.?
Acre Candle Co. is a small family-run business based in Hampshire. We offer hand-poured quality scented candles and wax melts.
Are your products made in England?
Each and every product you see in our online store is handmade by ourselves in our home in Hampshire. From planning to pouring and labelling, every product is handmade by the two of us. Our supplies are sourced from within the UK. We try to support local, ethical and sustainable production as much as possible.
Are your products vegan friendly?
Our products are vegan and eco-friendly. All of our products are made from 100% coconut and rapeseed wax. They are free from paraffin, soy, palm and other synthetic additives, meaning they burn cleanly and won't release any nasty toxins into your home.
Why do you use Coconut and Rapeseed Wax?
We have chosen to use coconut and rapeseed wax in our products as we are passionate about being environmentally conscious whilst still bringing you products that are high quality and make your home smell amazing. We chose this as an alternative to soy wax, which is often a more popular choice, because soy is the second largest agricultural driver of deforestation worldwide. Coconuts are a sustainable high-yield crop and harvesting the oil is an organic process, whilst rapeseed is a plant that is renewable, sustainable and a greener alternative to mineral wax and waxes produced through intensive farming techniques.
What oils do you use in your products?
We use a mixture of fragrance oils in all our products. We make sure you always know what ingredients are used and every product comes with an ingredient list and product safety label (CLP).
What are perfume notes?
Perfume notes are ingredients that make up a fragrance. They are categorised as top notes, heart notes and base notes. This carefully selected blend of ingredients forms the perfume accord, the basic character of a fragrance.
Top Notes: Provide initial spark and have the most impact
Heart Notes: Contain the truest nature of the candle scent
Base Notes: Support lighter notes and have the longest-lasting scent
How much is delivery?
Our prices for delivery in the UK start from just £2.99 and we calculate this based on the contents of your basket. All deliveries are tracked so you can be sure exactly when you will receive it!
What if I have a problem with my delivery?
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any problems with your order and/or delivery. We are more than happy to step in and help if you have any difficulties.

When will my order arrive?
We try to get your orders ready ASAP, however as we only have 2 pairs of hands this can take a little longer. Due to COVID-19 and delays with postal services, please allow up to two weeks for your items to arrive.
Can I have a refund?
We hope you will be happy with your products, however we understand that sometimes things may go wrong. If you receive an item that is damaged or you are not happy, please get in touch within 14 days of receiving your items and we will discuss this with you and provide a replacement or refund where necessary.
